Black course

Black course was taught by Prof. Garbert. Black is a very usual color in our daily life, and also a important element for art and design. In this course we used Black to create. We’ve done a lot of practices with this color, likes using charcoal stick to create freely on the paper, touching some objects and doing sketches in a totally black room. Doing a installation art work on wall with different objects to make a gradient effect, which from black to white.

,,Show me’’ course was taught by Prof. Garbert. In this course everyone showed their portfolio to other students and also prepared a presentation about their favorite artists’ works. Then we got ideals from this works of students and artists and made practices together. For example, Wei showed us his art works about the China’s changing map, then we made this map with tables, chairs, woods, and papers.
